RKM Mining Software

Randall K. Martin (RKM) and Associates, Inc is my company that has specialized in software applications in the mining industry since 1995. In the past twenty-four years, I have sold 3D Modeling Software products at very affordable prices. I have come to the realization that, although the software is still used by me and small group of consultants and producers on a daily basis, it can no longer compete with the current generation of mine planning software. These packages offer interactive 3-D graphics which far exceed the 3-D graphics capabilities of my software.

I still believe there is a need for a simpler style of software, which requires little training. As such, I have decided to offer my software for free to anyone who chooses to use it. Simply download the software from the downloads page and install it. For now, I will be providing a time limited version of software which will expire at the end of each year. A new download will be made available in early December of each year that will expire at the end of the following year.

I recently incorporated an interface to the Colorado School of Mines Mineflow (c) program. This is a free program which has been shown to give identical results to five different commercial pit optimization programs. As you know, these programs can cost $10000 dollars or more per year, but you can get the capability right here from MicroMODEL.

I have provided a DONATE button on the download page. If you find the software useful for your modeling and mining projects, I hope that you will donate money to help cover the cost of compiler updates, website costs, and time spent fixing bugs and adding enhancements.
